Leabhar Cheanannais

This Fall knitwear collection, "Leabhar Cheanannais," meaning "the Book of Kells" in Irish, is inspired by the book of the same name. Translating the detailed, hand-painted motifs into knit techniques and textures, this collection features large Celtic cables, chunky braids, seed stitches, intarsia gospel motifs, and partial knitting to create an ornate pattern that reflects the detail of each page. Warm browns, rich burgundies, deep olives, and metallic golds interlock throughout each piece to emphasize the textures, paired with current knitwear trends for a modern look.
